Almont Interactive Record Store Display

Let them browse every record. Without touching one.

Life-size albums on a touchscreen. Your real records safe behind locking glass. A blinking light shows customers exactly where the one they want is sitting.

Two shelves hold 200+ records. A drawer holds your CDs and cassettes. Plug it in and it's on.

Every bin has a cost.

You know what happens on a busy Saturday. Ten customers, ten flips through the same crate, and the records that make you money take the beating.

Damage

Creased corners, split seams, ring wear. The clean copy you paid good money for loses value before it ever finds a buyer. When customers browse a screen instead of a sleeve, handling damage stops at the source.

Misfiles

A record shoved back under the wrong artist is a record you can't sell. Nobody misplaces what they never pick up.

Space

Bins eat floor space. The Almont display fits more inventory into less space, with two shelves for 200+ records and a drawer for CDs and cassettes.

Security

Open bins leave your best stock unprotected. Hinged glass doors with a lock keep the inventory secure while customers still see everything you have.

A screen for browsing. Glass for protecting.

  1. Browse

Customers flip through albums on a touchscreen: random, by artist, by genre, or by recommended titles. Albums appear life-size, so they see fronts, backs, gatefolds, labels, and the condition of the vinyl.

  2. Find

Found something? A blinking LED shows the record's exact location on the display shelf. No digging through a crate to track it down.

  3. Listen

Add headphones and the display doubles as a customer listening station. A control panel with volume, browse, and select knobs keeps it simple for anyone walking up.

Your staff stays in charge. A wireless mini keyboard gives salespeople full control of the display from anywhere near it.

Built for the way a shop actually runs.

Plug-in power, USB updates, and free training keep it easy to live with, day after day.

Plug in to open. Unplug to close.
Plug it in and it turns on. Unplug it and it turns off.
Move it, then lock it down.
Lockable casters make it easy to roll into place and hold it there.
Update from a USB stick.
New arrivals go in with a USB stick, and Almont provides free training on how to update your album database.
Photograph as you price.
A rubber mat in front of the monitor holds an album for photography. Shoot it with a camera phone, upload the photos to the Almont website, and they'll format them for you at no charge for the first year.
Cassettes and CDs get a home too.
A slide-out drawer securely holds your cassettes and CDs.
A shelf that looks right when it isn't full.
A heavy-duty bracket holds records in place on the shelf when it isn't full.

Why your shop needs one.

Sell the records you're afraid to let anyone handle.

Your best pressings shouldn't have to sit in a bin to get seen. Behind glass, they stay protected while customers inspect every side on screen.

Give buyers confidence before they ask.

Front, back, gatefold, label, vinyl condition. When customers see what they're getting, they buy with more confidence.

Get your floor space back.

More inventory in less space than bins means room for the things that make your shop yours, or room for more records.

Give the shop something people walk over to see.

A glowing screen, a life-size album, and a blinking light on the shelf. It adds excitement to the customer experience the moment someone spots it.

See it in your shop.
